Sticky and I have just returned from an amazing experience. We were approached several months ago about shooting a mission trip the first week of March. We signed on immediately but, as most of you know, we really did not have much time to think about it because we were married the week before the trip. It truly was an odd experience to go from packing a wedding dress, fancy shoes, and diamond rings for our wedding in Savannah, GA to packing an air mattress, toilet paper and bug spray for our visit to Mexico. We have absolutely no regrets about going though, we learned a lot about ourselves and met some pretty extraordinary people. And just in case you were wondering, this was DEFINITELY NOT a Honeymoon - we are going on that later.
The purpose of the trip was sort of two-fold. 1. Build a house for a family who lives in a community that is located in an inactive dump and 2. Spend time with children of all ages inside of two orphanages. The team successfully built a modest home for the family in less than four days and the children could not have been more thrilled to have all of them there. Here are a few of the images as well as a SLIDESHOW (CLICK HERE).

Hey brandy and Sticky...
The few photos you had on here and the slideshow were amazing! You truely have an amazing gift. I've never seen photos that speak to the heart like the one's you've captured! I'm so glad you went on this trip and was able to truely capture what the tijuana mission is all about! I feel these photos are going to help us tremendously with getting the message across and recruiting more teams as well as funds! Thank you so much! This mission work has truely become a part of my life and calling and the work you have helped do will help bring more to know about this amazing opportunity and outreach!
Thanks again! ~MeGaN
