the nudds

Earlier this week Stick and I went on a little road trip to Chattanooga, TN to visit our dear friends Garrett, Joy and Graycen Nudd. Garrett was kind enough to shoot some portraits of us for our Holiday Greeting which we CANNOT WAIT to unveil!! The images are absolutely stunning and exactly what we were envisioning! After our shoot we had the pleasure of turning our cameras on the Nudds=) Garrett is my absolute favorite photographer on the planet so having to shoot him and his family was of course an honor but also a bit nerve racking!!! Luckily I had Stick and Graycen there for comic relief (they are quite the pair). Plus Joy let me help her with her make-up so I was really looking forward to the final result (she looked amazing!!!).

This family is looking more and more stylish every time I see them.

I cannot say enough about lil g. She is all the warmth and sweetness of both her parents wrapped up in one beautiful little package.

This is what Graycen will look like in a few years on her way to her first designer shoe store (if Aunt Brandy has anything to do with it!).

This was suppose to be of just G&J but lil g had other plans=)

What a HOT couple!

After the shoot we headed to an awesome party for Blush Magazine. I will have to steal the images from Garrett that he took of the four of us there as well as our picture with an awesome native Ohioan named Nan.

And then right before Graycen headed to bed we gave the Nudds their first ever Christmas crackers!! For those of you who do not know they are an english tradtion that are usually pulled or cracked open after Christmas dinner. They include all sorts of things, the only constant is the crown=) Here are the Nudds in their crowns (I have a great one of Garrett opening his but I want to be invited back, lol!!!):

Great times as usual guys!!! Thank you so much for having us in your home. Cannot wait to do it again someday!!

LOVE them! You did such a fantastic job capturing them and their personalities. I love how you call her "lil g" - that so stinkin' cute! The shot of the 3 of them laughing is awesome! Can't wait to see your holiday photo.

HUGS!!

Wow, guys, these are great! What a fun time we had. Waaaaayyyy too many laughs.

Love the urban portraits. Kind of Rascal Flatts-esque, don't you think? Thanks so much!

Not particularly lovin' the pic of us in our crowns though. LOL! Though the undecorated tree looks cool. But you're right, there were many other incriminating images you held back. Thanks for using discretion. Just make sure that Jim Cook doesn't get ahold of them!

Hope you're enjoying your snow. It's going to be 74 degrees here today!

I love the way the "Superpoke" hairstyle looks coming out the top of that crown! It's hip, in a country sorta way!

Thanks for an amazingly fun time!

You guys have outdone yourselves! These are just beautiful. What a fun opportunity to hang out with dear friends and share creative energy. Every time I see little g, I think she could be a professional kid-model! So adorable.
