great time!

We just got back from Chattanooga, TN and we had such a good time on our quick trip!!! It is always great to hangout with friends. We feel so blessed to have so many great ones in the photography world to bounce thoughts and ideas off of.
Here is a picture of all us!! Our amazing hosts and friends, The Nudds, our good friends Katie and Chris Torres, and new friends Sean and Melanie Mclellan.
This image was taken with Nikon's new AMAZING D3. Garrett went through my bags before I left to make sure that I did not try to stow it away. Although he did try to sneak a pair of purple fuzzy boots in my bag (don't worry Graycen, I caught him).

We are currently in Chatt, TN visiting good friends/photographers. More on all the fun very soon but for now I would like to congratulate the New York Giants. I am by no means of fan of theirs but I do enjoy a good football game and absolutely love an underdog victory (not to mention the fact that I do not care for the Pats much). Great game to all!!!

sticky and brandy in disney!
Tuesday, January 29, 2008
Sticky and I have been to Orlando together before but unfortunately did not have time for Disney. So when we were planning our trip down for the e-session we made sure to squeeze in a day or so of Disney fun. This part of Orlando holds a very special place in my heart b/c all the way back in the Spring of '97 I was an official Disney Cast Member. While attending BGSU I decided to try out for the Walt Disney World College Program and much to my surprise was accepted. I spent 5 months learning more than I ever imagined and made some friends that I am still very close to today. I also made the decision to go into photography while I was there, for that the experience has been priceless. I could go on and on about how great it was, but I will spare you=)
We decided to visit Epcot b/c Stick is not a huge fan of rides and we really did not want to stand in lines the whole time anyways. I will say that Jan is an AWESOME time to visit. The crowds are very low and you will see so much more. We visited all 11 countries in Epcot and just about ate at every single one as well, lol!!! The cream puffs at Paris are AMAZING!!! We also visited Downtown Disney b/c it was a short walk from our hotel and it is the home to the World of Disney which is the store I worked at=) It was so wonderful to show Stick around Disney and of course to share a few cast member secrets with him! I cannot wait to go back with him someday, hopefully we will have the chance to visit all the parks!
Here is a SLIDESHOW of our fun=)

evelyn and billy.e-session in orlando, fl
There is nothing Sticky and I love more than to shoot in brand new locations and when it takes us to much nicer weather, well it just does not get better than that=) We were so thrilled when Evelyn contacted us for her and Billy's wedding. Our good friends and fellow photographers Garrett and Joy Nudd led them to us and we could not be more honored. Last week was our first face to face meeting and it did not take long for all of us to become friends. We did have a little rain (actually it poured) but we managed to find shelter and had a great time shooting. Afterwards we went out to dinner to from what I am told is the best rib joint in Florida (I cold not tell you, I had the flounder). It was so great to spend some time with these two and get to know them better as well as hear about the wedding. Thanks so much for the great time guys, and yes, Sticky is still talking about those ribs, LOL!!!

katie and bryan
Our first wedding of the 2008 season just happened to be very good friends of ours!!! Katie and Bryan are such great people. They are the type of friends that make it to just about every get together - including destination weddings;-) So of course when they asked us to shoot their wedding we were more than honored. It was so great to see all of their friends and family come together for the big day. We were even treated to a The One-Eyed Show concert! All in all it was a fantastic evening full of all our favorites - good wedding, good music and awesome friends!!! Thanks again Katie and Bryan (aka Hoser)!!!

Last week we had the pleasure of shooting Elizabeth who was in town from California visiting her Grandma. We shot most of the session inside of her Grandma's house which is one of those awesome old homes that they have taken really good care of. We also had some light snow outside so of course we had to take advantage of that. Elizabeth was a complete joy the entire time=) Thank you so much to everyone=)
When we arrived she had her princess dress on!
This kitty wanted so badly to be in the shot.

1 year old!

Miss Josie entered the world exactly 1 year ago today!!! This is an image we caught on her shoot over Christmas. As you can see, she already gets the concept that a smushy face on a window is very silly looking=)
Hope you have an amazing day Josie!!!
