Our first fall wedding and what a BLAST it was! Jolie and John Paul had such a beautiful October day - which as we all know is hit or miss especially in Ohio! They were married in a beautiful quaint chapel which also happened to be beside some great backdrops - architecture and fall colors - a photographer's dream!! Jolie is so easy to shoot. She loves to play with the camera and natural moved through every pose - it was great! And the two of them are just so sweet together - their love definitely shows! I am so glad Jolie discovered me on internet - she lives in FL and said that she looked at over 10o photographers an chose us!!! We could not have been more honored! Thank you so much Jolie and John Paul - hope the honeymoon was fun and relaxing!! Be sure to check out the slideshow.

A couple of weeks ago I had the pleasure of shooting Amy and Tom's VERY CHILLY engagement pictures. The weather actually favored well b/c they had no problem cuddling up - although I really do not think that they needed much incentive. After shooting in the woods we took a couple in the coffee shop and then ended in the alley. I had such a blast shooting these two!! They are both so genuine - and SO COMPLETELY TERRIFIC together!! I absolutely cannot wait for the wedding!

And yet another 2007 senior to post. I am behind on everything so I am at least trying to catch up the blog! Chris and his parents are just terrific people! They are so nice and very classy! Chris's Dad was kind enough to lend his precious vehicle for the shoot - sorry that you cannot see the whole thing but I kind of liked the mirror shot. The whole shoot was just so enjoyable and it was truly a pleasure to spend the afternoon with this Chris and his parents.

Yet another great shoot with a 2007 Senior! David was very quiet but I did manage to get a few smiles out of him! His sister came along with him so that helped, as it usually does, in the smile department. We stayed mainly in downtown Van Wert which coincidentally has more great spots than you would think. I really enjoyed shooting David and definitely enjoyed the company of him and his sister.

What a great time I had shooting Zach's senior pictures! His mom and girlfriend came along with him which made it extra fun! I have known his family forever since his mom and my dad are first cousins - and it always seems that they are laughing and having such a great time. We actually shot some wheat photos earlier in the summer (a farming family - Zach is the combine man) so these were some Fall ones to finish things up. Zach hung in there considering that it was a bit chilly and oh did I mention he was on his way to the OSU vs BGSU game?! I did not hear one complaint though and the whole shoot turned out great! And just for the record I probably would have been a little anxious if I was on my way to an Buckeye game as well!! I felt for you Zach!

amber, justin and vegas.family

What a great time I had shooting this family! I knew that Amber and Justin were beautiful because we all went to the same high school but I had no idea that they own one of the most beautiful golden retrievers I have ever seen! Vegas reminded me so much of our lab - must be a retriever thing. I just love how they all looked outside with the early changing trees - blond and gorgeous - all three of them! It was a great change of pace to shoot a married couple in the first few years of their new lives together. It seems like so many couples end the professional photo sessions at the wedding and save all the rest for the kids to come. It is equally important to document the marriage as well - with or without children (those of the un-furry kind) - thanks guys!

Caleb and Jacob were such a joy to shoot! Our shoot took place on the East Bank of the Grand Lake St Marys. The leaves were just starting to change so we definitely took advantage of that. The boys had a great time running around in the AWESOME fall weather. I loved all of the outfits that their mom, Lynn, picked out and bringing along a football and the big red ball was a great idea! Such a fun time and could not have asked for more polite kids!!

Here is Lil' Miss Myia!! This is my very good friend's, Krista's, little girl! We managed to squeeze in a morning shoot this week and she was so good! As you can see she is very easy to photograph - she is beautiful just like her mom! She also just started walking so she was on the move! We managed to pull off the best shots in the park where she could play with the Fall leaves. Myia has these GREAT BIG BEAUTIFUL EYES that just RADIATED out there! Thanks for the shoot ladies and a big kudos to big brother Kalen for being so good!

I just could not get over this kid - he was a riot! As you can see Dierks is full of life and was such a pleasure to shoot. That is saying a lot considering that he is a Michigan fan - but I must say that he is the cutest one I have ever seen! This little guy loved to goof around too - he had the best smile when he would get a headstart and then come and tackle me! By the looks of this guy I am pretty sure that there are many many more tackles to come - such a football player in the making!

landon.3 years

Here is the adorable Landon. I was able to snag some shots of him at a beautiful property in which a friend of the family owns. Landon was so well behaved - I wasn't sure if it was b/c of the early morning time or the tupperware of Honeycomb Cereal but he did great! He actually has a another sibling on the way so this will probably be the last photo session of just him. Next time he will have to play big brother!! Thanks Landon!

I have been so blessed with GORGEOUS seniors this year and Kortnie is absolutely no exception!! I had the pleasure of shooting her sister's, Jordanne's, wedding earlier this year so it was so great to see her and their mom, Deb, again!! Kortnie was lucky enough to have loads of clothes to choose from b/t sisters and friends and Jordanne was a HUGE help with wardrobe, make up and hair - beautiful work as usual! Of course I could not get over Kortnie's blazing blue eyes - those are definitely not the kind of blue eyes that you see everyday. She was such an ease to shoot and so good at directions - which always makes me look good! Thank you so much for the fun shoot Kortnie!
