I do not even know where to begin with this one!!! Ann and Nick had such an amazing wedding on New Year's Eve. Ever since I met Ann I knew that she would be a blast to work with. She has great taste and she is so laid back and easy going. I was even more excited when she initially showed me her bridesmaid dresses and color scheme (which did not disappoint!!). From the moment we walked in she made us feel very welcomed. We had quite a crew with us because our friends from Atlanta, Katie and Chris Torres, were kind enough to fly in and shoot with us=) Everyone was so kind to us and it was quite a party that Ann and Nick threw for their guests. The reception was held at the gorgeous Columbus Athenaeum which provided a wonderful theatrical feel to the night. It was such a fun wedding to shoot and we were so honored to be a part of it!!! Thank you so much to Ann and Nick and all their friends and family!!! We were so thrilled to ring in 2008 with all of you=)

They were married after dark and opted not to see each other before the ceremony so daylight was very limited. We did manage to catch of few of Ann and the girls before the sun was gone.

Her veil was so long (again, made by her friend) and her sisters were so wonderful about straightening it out to look beautiful.

If you are an Ohio State fan you will know what this is all about=) Ann surprised Nick with the OSU Alumni Band and her brother-in-law was a true pro at "dotting the i."

And last but certainly not least we want to thank Katie and Chris for making our very first second shooting experience so darn seamless!!! We had such a wonderful time shooting and hanging out with you guys!!! The visit went by way too fast. Cannot wait to do it again very soon - next time we are coming to your neck of he woods=) Thanks Again guys!!!!

I have known Mel and Monica for so many years now=) Mel was actually my first official senior ever (I know, how lucky am I to start off with such a beauty!!!) and much to my delight Monica contacted me for hers as well. This time around they wanted to do a shoot as a gift for their Mom. Being that I had already shot both of these girls I knew that this session was going to be FUN!! And to top all that off Jordanne did her magic making these girls even more gorgeous than they already are. Thanks so much you guys - I can't wait to hear how the gifts went over=)

froelich sisters

I shot a couple of sessions before the holidays that I could not post b/c they were surprises. The Froelich sisters were one of those. I shot the youngest sister's, Kayla, senior portraits last summer and had such a blast with her. So when she called for this shoot I was thrilled! This year Kayla will be going off to college while Sarah, the oldest, is married and lives out of town and Melissa, in the middle, is currently in college. The girls thought this would be a perfect year to give their parents a picture of the three of them and they could not have been more correct. I received the nicest email from their mom right after she received the framed image=) Thank you so much for the fun shoot girls!!! I cannot believe that all the story-telling paid off;-)

We had the chance to finally do an official shoot with our niece Josie right before Christmas. Josie and her parents, Chuck (Stick's bro) and Mel, live down in Charlotte, NC so the opportunity for a shoot is a little limited. We were thrilled when they wanted to make some time for it on their visit home!! We experimented in some new environments and Josie handled it like a champ. As first she was a bit unsure but it really did not take long for her to warm up. The whole family did great and we cannot wait for the next one=) Thanks guys for everything - the shoot and of course the visit.

kara and rob.we do

This past Saturday we shot a wedding near Cincinnati, OH for Kara and Rob. They are such a sweet couple. They were only engaged this past Sept so obviously they have been very busy the past few months. The whole day was seamless and I believe it was just what they were hoping for. Thank you so much for letting us be a part of it all!

Kara wore Rob's band during the engagement. They had it resized for him and he surprised her with this beauty up on the alter. I believe she was pleased.

Once again we had an amazing Christmas thanks to our awesome families. We managed to squeeze 6 parties in 4 days, it was GREAT! We really should have snapped more photos, the same thing I say every year. Here a few that we did manage to capture.
